There were a number of accidents on Rockdale-area roads during the past week.

A 34-year-old Bryan man was flown to Baylor Scott & White, Temple, after an 8:55 p.m. Saturday collision on US 79 near the Milano Fire Station.

According to the DPS, David Barnhart collided with the trailer of an 18-wheeler rig driven by Abdullah Timpson-Bey Sr., 57, of Richmond. A third vehicle, operated by Eva Soto, 57, of Milano was damaged at the accident scene about to minutes later.

Barnhart’s vehicle was totaled, there was extensive damage to Timpson-Bey’s trailer and Soto’s vehicle sustained moderate damage, the DPS said.

Motorcyclist Clinton Rollins of Gause was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Bryan, by private vehicle, after his motorcycle slid to avoid cattle on US 79 about 9:3o p.m. Thursday on US 79 near the FM 2095 intersection in Gause.

MORE—Moderate damages were reported in a 12:48 p.m. Friday two-vehicle collision at the US 77-FM 908 intersection south of Rockdale. Drivers were listed as Serlchar Lee of College Station and Robert Whitley of Sandia.

Extensive damages were listed in a one-vehicle Saturday accident on FM 487 near Rockdale. Driver John Debault of Rockdale refused treatment, according to the DPS.

ONE-VEHICLE—A vehicle which overturned at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, south of Rockdale, on FM 908 near CR 316, sustained moderate damage, the DPS said.

Driver was listed as Jose Luis Rodriguez-Olivarez of Rockdale.

Damage estimates were not available for a 5:15 p.m. Monday accident at US 79 and CR 352 in Gause in which a vehicle hit a tree.

Driver was listed as James Adams of Rockdale, according to the DPS.

No information was available for a 1:20 p.m. Friday two-vehicle accident at Texas 36 and CR 342 in Milano.
