We goofed last week thinking Kane Quinney was the first baby of the year who was born on Jan. 7. The Reporter got a call on Wednesday morning after the online edition came out from Candace Timmerman whose baby, Ella, was born two days prior to Kane on Friday, Jan. 5. On Thursday morning, your editor got a message from Sonja Rubio saying her baby, Kylah, was born on Jan. 3.
