A reminder of what TxDOT is doing downtown

• The resurfacing of US 79 would include the replacement of existing asphalt, curb and gutter, pedestrian facilities and various drainage improvements. Modified lane marking would improve safety and provide smooth traffic transitions.

• Four-lane sections would be converted to a three-lane sections, one lane in each direction with a center turn lane throughout the limits of work.

• On the somewhat finished 200 block on the north side of East Cameron Avenue, decorative concrete has been poured in a brick red color and stamped to look like bricks.
