Resting up for Tuesday night

Santa gets some well-deserved rest, in front of his own fireplace, before he starts out on that annual worldwide excursion Tuesday night. It takes just about all year to recover from those Christmas Eve marathons and he’s running out of time to take it easy, even with support from the Elf-in-Chief. Actually, Santa (Doug Williams) and Elf-in-Chief (Denice Doss) were in between visits with children enjoying Breakfast With Santa Saturday morning in the Patterson Center. It was the start of a full day of Christmas activities in Rockdale, capped off with the lighted night parade. See pages 3A, 4A and 6B.
