RHS seniors collect $274,400 in scholarships

Rockdale High School graduating seniors picked up $274,400 in scholarships last Wednesday in a virtual RHS Awards Ceremony.

Announcements were made online due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Counselor Kelly Windham listed scholarships and awards as follows:

Rockdale Tennis Association Scholarship— Devon Whitsel, Payton Miller, $500 each.

Rockdale Fair Association Scholarship—Maddy Moody, $500.

Rockdale Fair Queen Scholarship—Whitley Boyd, $1,000; Maddy Moody, $1,250.

Louise Hale Sessions Matinee Musical Club Scholarship—Carson King, $500.

Milam County Area Go Texan—Maddy Moody, $1,750.
