At Monday’s RISD board meeting and luncheon, elementary, intermediate and junior high students were recognized for placing in Academic UIL competitions. Student athlete, Jesus Bocanegra, was recognized for placing 2nd at District, 7th at Regional and was a State Qualifier in Cross Country.
The board approved an Adjunct Faculty Agreement and Resolution regarding extracurricular status of the 4-H Organization.
The board was informed of the following certified personnel hires: Julie Rogers, RES Life Skills; Marilyn Rasmussen 8th Grade ELAR teacher.
The board was informed of the following non-certified personnel hires: Gunner Miller, Teacher/Coach; Sandra Dudley, bus monitor.
The board was informed of the following non-certified personnel resignations: Autumn Haberlen, RIS Instructional Aide; Jaylyn Barcak, 8th Grade ELAR teacher.
The board approved Hunter Hamrick on a Probationary Certified Administrator Contract for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year and the 20232024 school year as Athletic Director.
