The annual Rockdale Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet was held last Thursday night at the New Salem Building at Fair Park with a catered barbeque dinner by chamber member Thorndale Meat Market.
The award categories were a little different this year and the winners are:
• Large Business of the Year— Workforce Solutions of Central Texas.
• Small Business of the Year— Majik Firearms.
• Emerging Business of the Year— Main Street Bookshop.
• Citizen of the Year— Chuck Keagy.
• Organization of the Year— Rockdale Rotary Club.
• Inspire Award— RIOT Platforms.
During the ceremony MDD Economic Director Jim Gibson announced the names of this year’s leadership class as they graduated.
