The Rockdale City Council made up for an oversight Monday night by giving Municipal Judge Jerry Waggoner a positive evaluation during an executive session in City Hall.
Waggoner’s evaluation never got scheduled in fiscal year 2020, so the council made his annual performance raise retroactive at the special meeting.
Waggoner has been municipal judge since December of 2013, he said. Before that he worked at Alcoa for 32 years.
The council also voted to return a duplex back to multifamily zoning on first reading.
