A 33-year-old Rockdale man was arrested on a burglary of a habitation charge at 8 a.m. on Tuesday by officer Jeremiah Harden.

The man also had two warrants on him with one from the sheriff’s office for assault and the second for resisting arrest out of Williamson County.

There were only two speeding tickets handed out last week and one for driving without a license.

Officers responded to 275 calls for service with 117 being 911 calls.

Fire calls

Thursday, 4:57 p.m., Rockdale VFD responded to Cefco in Rockdale for a pickup on fire at the fuel pumps, fire out upon arrival. Rockdale fire unit on scene canceled any responding units.

• Thursday, 9:27 p.m., Rockdale VFD responded to 207 Ford Lane to extinguish a burn that was in violation of the city ordinance.

• Saturday, 3 p.m., Milano VFD responded to 304 W. Avenue C for a controlled burn out of control and a tree on fire.

• Sunday, 9:10 p.m., Milano VFD, along with MCSO and AMR, responded to US.36 at Griffin Chapel for a two-vehicle accident off roadway.

• Monday, 7:19 p.m., Thorndale VFD responded to North Main and FM 486 for low hanging power lines and broken utility pole.
