Rockdale Police Officers made one felony arrest during the past seven days:
• A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested by Sgt. Parker on Monday for a warrant for possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams).
Accidents
RPD officers responded to three accidents during the past week including:
• Ofc. Davis responded to a two-vehicle minor accident at West Cameron Avenue and Josie Lane on Friday.
• Ofc. Wachtel, along with Investigator Hubnik and Ofc. Puente, responded to 649 N. Main for a minor one-vehicle accident in which the vehicle swerved to miss a dog and hit a utility pole on Sunday.
• Ofc. Wachtel, along with Investigator Hubnik and Ofc. Davis, responded to 709 W. US 79 on a private road in front of Walmart for a two-vehicle accident with a minor injury on Sunday. Rockdale VFD and AMR also responded but both parties refused medical treatment.
Arrests
RPD officers made three arrests during the past seven days including one each for warrant for false report to police officer, a warrant for DWI and no drivers license.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to a total of 252 calls for service during the past week including 106 for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were seven incidents on the report for the past seven days including two for interview room/ emergency order of detention, and one each for theft of property ($750 to $2,500), criminal mischief ($100 to $750), no drivers license, interview room and criminal trespass.
