Rockdale Police officers made one felony arrest during the past week:
• Chad Ian Malin, 47, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Ofc. Parker for credit/debit card abuse.
Accidents
RPD officers responded to two accidents during the past week including:
• Officer Hensley responded to the west entrance to Walmart on Wednesday for a deer that ran into a vehicle. AMR responded for a head wound.
• Officer Parker responded with AMR and Rockdale VFD to 825 Ackerman Street for a sedan driven by John Moreno which left the roadway crossing over Hamilton Street hitting and going up a lead wire on utility pole and the going entirely through a manufactured home owned by Marvin and Dora Mantey. Driver was transported by AMR.
Arrests
Rockdale Police Officers made five arrests during the past week including one each for a Rockdale warrant for assault by contact, an RPD warrant for speeding, am RPD warrant for violating promise to appear, criminal trespass and driving with license invalid.
Calls for service
RPD officers responded to 315 total calls for service during the past week with 118 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 16 incidents on the report during the past week including three for outstanding warrants, two for interview room and evading arrest detention on foot, and once each for criminal mischief ($100 to $750), interview room/emergency of detention, theft ($2,500 to $30,000), missing person, credit or debit card abuse, criminal trespass, driving with license invalid, evading arrest detention with vehicle, stalking/ harassment, forgery and burglary of a building.
