Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests dur ing the past week including:
• Thoma s A nt hony McElroy, 27, Lexington, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Puente for a warrant for criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000).
• Eric Michael Whitfield, 63, Rockdale, was arrested Thursday by Ofc. Puente for burglary of habitation, possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and prohibited substance in a correctional facility,
• Two juveni les, 16, Rockdale, were arrested on Thursday on four counts of engaging in organized criminal activity, burglary of habitation and evading arrest/detention.
• Kevin Lee Rubio, 34, Rockdale, was arrested on Monday by Sgt. Fankland for two warrants for credit/ debit card abuse and a warrant for criminal trespass.
Accidents RPD officers responded to three accidents during the past week including:
• Ofc. Puente responded to Rockdale Building Materials on Tuesday for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
• Sgt. Parker responded to 201 West Cameron Avenue on Wednesday for a vehicle vs. building.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Chicken Express for a two-vehicle accident on Saturday with no injuries.
Arrests RPD officers made five arrests during the past week including one each for DWI, dr iv ing with license invalid, no drivers license, a warrant for Class C assault and a warrant for criminal trespass.
Calls for service Rockdale Police Officers responded to 249 total calls for service during the past week with 106 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report There were 15 incidents on the report this week including two for emergency order of detention and interview room, and one each for theft of property ($100 to $750), DWI, driving with license invalid, Class C assault, burglary of habitation, assault, no driver’s license, possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram), prohibited substance in correctional facility, missing person and unlawful restraint.
