Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests during the past week including:
• Case Christian Scott, 26, Austin, was arrested by Ofc. Lentz for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams) and for unlawful carrying of a weapon.
• Kelan Scott Locklin, 31, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wall for possession of a controlled substance (under 1 gram) and two local warrants.
• Carlos Javier Contreras, 52, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Richardson for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
• Juan Simental Jr., 40, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wachtel for prohibited substance in a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance (under 1 gram), and assault by contact.
• Dante James Maxwell, 27, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Richardson for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams), and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Accidents
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to Cameron at Green for a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Sept. 10 at 9:11 a.m.
• Ofc. Richardson responded near the intersection of Murray and Hogan for minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Sept. 11 at 4:35 p.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to near the 500 block of West Bell for a hit and run with no injuries on Sept. 13 at 3:34 p.m.
Arrests
RPD officers made seven arrests over the past seven days including two each for unlawful carrying of a weapon, and assault by contact, and one each for failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear, and no drivers license.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 293 total calls for service during the past week including 98 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 19 incidents on the report for the past week including five each for report only and possession of a controlled substance, two each for unlawful carrying of a weapon and assault, and one each for burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, prohibited substance in a correctional facility, no drivers license and sexual assault.
