Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including:
• Stacy Ann Leystra, 46, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Sgt. Fain for a warrant from the Milam County Sheriff’s Department for burglary of a building.
• Charles Avery Dykes, 74, Milano, was arrested Wednesday by Sgt. Fain for possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams) in a drug free zone.
• Davin Odell Shriver, 17, Rockdale, was arrested on Thursday by Ofc. Puente for a warrant for possession of a controlled substance (fewer than 20 units) in a drug free zone.
• David Ray Gonzales, 17, Rockdale, was arrested on Saturday by Ofc. Lauren Hensley for continuous violence against the family.
Accidents • Ofc. Parker along with Rockdale VFD and AMR responded to Cameron Avenue at Green Street for a two-vehicle accident. One passenger was transported to Taylor for neck pain, and a child in one of the cars was transported to McClain’s Children’s Hospital to be checked out.
• Ofc. Puente responded to a two-vehicle accident on East Cameron in front of Southwest Milam Water Supply.
Arrests
RPD officers six arrests during the past week including two for public intoxication and one each for possession of marijuana, interference with public duties, criminal trespass and terroristic threats against family/household.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 302 total calls for service with 109 of them being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 19 incidents on the report this week including six for interview room, two for outstanding warrants, two for public intoxication, two for possession of controlled substance in a drug free zone, and one each for interfering with public duties, criminal trespass, forgery, continuous violence against family, burglary of habitation, terroristic threat and harassment.
