Rockdale Police Officers made six felony arrests during the past seven days including:

• Jesus Llanas Sanchez, 26, Rockdale was arrested on Wednesday by Sgt. Parker for a warrant for a motion to proceed felony violation for sexual offense against child/fondling.

 

• Ignacio Melchor Jr., 40, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Krejci for a Pardon and Parole Board violation theft of property ($1,500) with two previous convictions.

 

• Tomas Luna, 35, Rockdale, was arrested on Thursday of Ofc. Hensley on a Milam County warrant for probation violation resisting arrest and two RPD warrants for taking or attempting to take a weapon from a peace officer and resisting arrest search or transport.

 

• Braumn Myers, 33, Rockdale, was arrested on Thursday by Ofc. Hensley for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) in a drug free zone, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

• Tanner Scott Hoffman, 28, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Krejci on Thursday for two warrants: failure to comply with sex offender duty to register with previous convictions.

 

• Kiki Ali Cashaw, 38, Rockdale, was arrested by Sgt. Frankland on Saturday on a local warrant for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).

Accidents RPD officers responded to three accidents during the past week including:

• Ofc. Krejci responded to Ackerman and Bell for a minor accident with no injuries on Wednesday.

 

• Ofc. Hensley responded to Murray and Meadow for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries and off roadway on Thursday.

 

• Ofc. Lentz responded to 905 West Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident on Monday.

Arrests RPD officers made five arrests during the past seven days including one each for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drug, possession of marijuana in a drug free zone, public intoxication and a Department of Corrections charge.

Calls for service Rockdale Police Officers responded to 297 total calls for service during the past week with 108 being for 911 emergency service.

Incident report There were 20 incidents on the report this week including three for interview room only, two for outstanding warrants, and one each for criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana in a drug free zone, possession of dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, interview room/juvenile, theft ($10 to $750), sexual assault, evading arrest with previous conviction, possession of marijuana (2 to 4 ounces), public intoxication, interview room dead on arrival, Department of Corrections charge and criminal mischief (less than $200).
