Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests dur ing the past week including:
• Jaden Nacole Sims, 19, Round Rock, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and for possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces.
• Connor Bailey Shuffield, 24, Cameron, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), unlawful carrying of a weapon, and DWI.
Accidents
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to 2412 Post Oak for traffic control for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Wednesday at 12:40 p.m.
• Ofc. Wall responded to US 79 in front of Quality Inn for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to 305 Calhoun for a hit and run on Friday at 1:17 p.m.
Arrests
RPD officers made seven arrests during the past week including two for possession of a dangerous drug, and one each for criminal trespass, a Travis County warrant for assault causes serious bodily injury/ family violence, a Travis County warrant for interfering with an emergency call, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 70 total calls for service during the past seven days including 27 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 14 incidents on the report for the past seven days including two each for the report only and possession of a dangerous drug, and one each for evading arrest detention with previous conviction, criminal trespass, Travis County warrants, theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, unlawful carrying of a weapon, DWI, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
