Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• Timothy Timen Burns, 42, Milano, was arrested by Officer Krejci for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams).
• Edwin J. Espinales, 29, Honduras, was arrested by Sgt. Fain for criminal mischief ($750 to $2,500), assault family violence impeding breath/circulation and interfering with emergency request for assistance with previous conviction and continuous violence against the family.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 237 calls for service during the past week including 92 calls for 911 emergency service.
Arrests
RPD officers made three arrests during the past week including one each for possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license and driving with license invalid.
Citations
Officers issued 27 citations over the past week including 11 for speeding, four for no insurance, three for possession of drug paraphernalia, two each for expired registration and defective tail lamp, and once each for juvenile in possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco products, open container in motor vehicle, expired drivers license and driving with license invalid.
Incident report
There were 17 incidents on the report during the past week including three each for minor in possession of tobacco products and possession of drug paraphernalia, two for juvenile in possession of drug paraphernalia, and one each for possession of a controlled substance (4 grams to 200 grams), forgery, failure to maintain financial responsibility, open container, no driver’s license, criminal mischief ($750 to $2,500) assault impedes breath/circulation/family violence, assault causes bodily injury/ continuous family violence and interference with emergency call.
Accidents
RPD officers responded to four accidents during the past week including:
• Officer Parker responded to 104 South FM 908 along with AMR on Thursday for a vehicle that hit a tree and went into a ditch. Vehicle was towed.
• Officer Parker responded to the high school football field on Thursday for a two-vehicle accident.
• Officer Puente and the Rockdale VFD responded to the 700 block of West Cameron on Saturday for a two-vehicle accident.
• Officer Parker responded to a three-vehicle accident at Cameron and Austin Street on Monday in which one person was transported by AMR.
