Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• Isaac Thomas Bakken, 18, Cameron, was arrested by Ofc. Wall for possession of a controlled substance (under 1 gram) and tampering/ fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.
• Victor Javier Cerritos, 31, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wall for aggravated sexual assault and resisting arrest search or transport.
Accidents
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to the 100 block of N. Main St. for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Oct. 16 at 10:31 a.m.
• Ofc. Richardson responded to a vehicle involved in a hit and run at the Rockdale Fairground, no injuries on Oct. 19 at 5:55 p.m.
• Ofc. Davis responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries near the 400 block of Mill Ave. on Oct. 19 at 8:15 p.m.
• Ofc. Wall responded to a vehicle involved in a hit and run with no injuries on Oct. 20 at 12:01 a.m.
Arrests
Rockdale Police Officers made six arrests during the past week including two for resisting arrest search or transport, and one each for a warrant for speeding, a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, a warrant for violating a promise to appear, and DWI.
Calls for Service
RPD officers responded to 185 total calls for service during the past seven days including 78 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 15 incidents on the report for the past week including five for the report only, two for resisting arrest search or transport, and one each for a Class C warrant, parole violation, possession of a controlled substance, tamper/ fabricate physical evidence, aggravated sexual assault, DWI, stolen vehicle, and debit/credit card abuse.
