Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrest during the past week including:
• Zachary Lee Eakin, 26, Rockdale, evading arrest with motor vehicle.
• Eric Deshaun Mack, 44, was arrested for two counts of assault causing serious bodily injury.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Donut Palace for a hit and run accident by an 18-wheeler that swiped a truck on April 2 at 12:31 p.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to the intersection of Belton and Texas near Rising Star Baptist Church for an accident with possible injuries on April 8 at 3:09 p.m.
Arrests
Two arrests were reported for the past seven days including one each for driving with license invalid and violation of emergency protective order.
Calls for Service
RPD officers responded to 201 total calls for service during the past week including 26 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 18 incidents on the report for the past week including three each for driving with license invalid, three for the report only and possession of drug paraphernalia, and one each for hit and run, stalking, emergency order of detention, evading arrest, burglary of a building, assault causes serious bodily injury, violation of a protective order, accident and animal at large.
