Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past seven days including:
• Fred Russell Jr., 68, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Ofc. Edward Wachtel for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), and a local Class C warrant for driving with license expired.
• Rosalinda Rubio-Blinka, 57, Rockdale, was arrested on Monday by Ofc. Corey Puente on a Milam County warrant for violation of probation/motion to proceed injury to elderly person.
Accidents
• Sgt. Parker responded to Caffey Corner for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Tuesday.
• Ofc. Krejci responded to Post Oak Road at Calhoun in reference to a two-vehicle minor accident on Wednesday.
• Sgt. Parker responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cameron Avenue at Main Street on Friday.
Arrests
RPD officers made seven arrests during the past seven days including two for RPD warrants for failure to appear, and one each for an RPD warrant for driving with license expires, a Williamson County warrant for assault causes bodily injury, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), and theft (less than $100).
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 279 total calls for service during the past week including 106 calls for 91 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 19 incidents on the report for the past seven days including six for interview room, four for outstanding warrants, and one each for possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, assault, missing or stolen license plate, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), criminal trespass, forgery by passing and theft (less than $100).
