Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including:
• Jimmy Lee Simmons, 40, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), two counts possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), evading arrest with vehicle, criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000), possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), resisting arrest.
• Cody Lee Hilbers, 43, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams).
• 16-year-old juvenile, Rockdale, burglary of habitation.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Gonzales restaurant for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries on Wednesday.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to near the VFW on West US 79 with minor injuries on Thursday.
• Sgt. Rodriguez responded to Brazos at Meadow for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries on Friday.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to Rockdale RV for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries on Saturday.
• Ofc. Puente responded to the 800 block of Bushdale for a two-vehicle crash on Sunday.
Arrests
RPD officers made six arrests during the past seven days including two each for resisting arrest and possession of a dangerous drug, and one each for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 148 calls for service during the past week including31 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 10 incidents in the report for the past week including three for the report only, two for possession of a controlled substance, and one each for sexual assault, public intoxication, burglary, injury to the elderly and burglary of a habitation.
