Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• A 16-year-old juvenile from Milano was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and possession of marijuana (less than two ounces).
• Marcus Keith Hayes, 19, Rockdale, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
Accidents
• Ofc. Wall responded to 855 Ackerman for a one vehicle accident with no injuries and an arrest was made on Jan. 22 at 6:07 p.m.
• Sgt. Hall responded to the 200 block of east Fifth Street for a two-vehicle accident on Jan. 23 at 12:04 p.m.
• Ofc. Wall responded to West Cameron Avenue in front of The Ranch for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries on Jan. 26 at 5:50 p.m.
• Ofc. Wall responded to Aaron’s for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Jan. 28 at 5:24 a.m.
Arrests RPD officers made six arrests during the past seven days include one each for interfering with an emergency call, DWI, unlawful carrying of a weapon, public intoxication, possession of marijuana, and parole violation.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 161 total calls for service during the past week including 31 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 18 incidents on the report for the past week including three for possession of a controlled substance, two each for DWI, possession of a controlled substance, parole violation and theft, and one each for interfering with an emergency call, unlawful carrying of a weapon, public intoxication, failure to register as sex offender, the report only, forgery, violation of probation, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, burglary and credit card abuse.
