Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• Jesus Chavira Lopez, 27, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Lent for injury to a child/reckless serious bodily injury.
• A 13-year-old juvenile, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Lent for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz along with AMR and RVFD responded to McDonald’s for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries on April 16 at 7:57 a.m.
• Captain Goodrich responded to 212 East Cameron Avenue for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries and out of the roadway on April 16 at 9:12 a.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Rockdale Junior High School with no injuries on April 22 at 11:48 a.m.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 153 total calls for service including 34 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were nine incidents on the report for the past seven days including six for the report only, a parole violation, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) in a drug free zone, and injury to a child.
