Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past seven days including:
• Johnny Aaron Morales, 34, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wachtel for possession of a controlled substance (under 1 gram).
• Christopher Adam Mayhall, 34, Franklin, was arrested by Ofc. Wachtel for possession of a controlled substance (under 1 gram).
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 221 total calls for service during the past week including 86 calls for 911 emergency service.
Arrests
RPD officers made six arrests during the past week including one each for no drivers license, expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility, DWI, failure to identify, and resisting arrest.
Incident Report
There were 19 incidents on the report for the past seven days including eight for the report only, two for possession of a controlled substance, and one each for no drivers license, expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility, DWI, criminal mischief, sexual assault, failure to identify, resisting arrest and evading arrest.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Ackerman near the post office on Aug. 16 at 12:36 p.m.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Cameron at Bonham for a hit and run accident on Aug. 17 at 4:42 p.m.
• Ofc. Wall responded to US 79 in front of Walmart for a two vehicle accident on Aug. 19 at 6:40 p.m.
