Police worked two accidents last week with both of them along or near Cameron Avenue.

On Thursday a 4:57 p.m., there was a two-vehicle wreck off the roadway near Wilcox and Cameron.

No injuries were reported in the crash involving a pickup and a Lexus, the report said.

Then 1o minutes later, there was a wreck in the 1300 block of West Cameron Avenue where two pickups collided. One of the drivers complained of neck pain to the police.

Two Rockdale men were arrested on felony charges over the last two weeks.

Nick Evan Angel, 46, was arrested Nov. 10 at 11:10 p.m. on charges of display fictitious registration, possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) with intent to deliver and tamper fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

William Zachary Wallace, 38, was arrested Thursday at 6:38 p.m. for repeated violation of protective order or bond condition.

In all police issued 19 citations two for failure to maintain financial responsibility, one was a second offense and one for no driver’s license. Police handed out 11 tickets for speeding and two drivers were given tickets for no driver’s license. A ticket was issued for assault by contact/threat and another for theft of more than $100. Two people were ticketed for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to 244 calls for help with 105 of those being 911 calls.
