The Rockdale City Council voted to hold a public hearing on the city’s budget for fiscal 2021-22 at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in City Hall.
The council on first reading also voted to rezone the industrial park in the city to industrial with planned unit overlay. That will allow for requirements or incentives to encourage development in the area.
