The Rockdale Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the shooting death of Jeffery McKinney Jr. on April 27.
“We are also asking our citizens who may have doorbell or security cameras to review your footage from this date between the hours of 5 p.m. and midnight for any captured images that could be helpful,” said Police Chief Jerry Meadors.
“Our investigation has revealed this incident was a targeted event and we do not believe there to be any danger to the public at large,” Meadors added.
