The Rockdale Police Department responded to three accidents during the past week.
• Officer Harden responded to Bell/Ackerman for a two-vehicle accident with injuries blocking the roadway on Saturday.
• Officer Harden responded to Green/Cameron Avenue for a one-vehicle accident with a utility pole on Sunday.
• Captain Goodrich responded to a minor two-vehicle accident on Scarborough Street on Monday.
One felony arrest was made on Saturday for two 14 year old males arrested for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
Six arrests were made by Rockdale police officers during the past week. Three for warrant/driving with license invalid, two for warrant/possession of drug paraphernalia and one for assault causes bodily injury/family violence.
Twelve citations were issued by the RPD during the past week. Five for speeding, two for animal at large, two for juveniles in possession of tobacco, two for expired registration and one for expired driver’s license.
INCIDENT REPORT— RPD responded to 13 incidents during the past week including two for outstanding warrants, two for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, one for theft ($100 to $750), one for theft ($2,500 to $30,000), two for animals at large, one for burglary of a vehicle, one aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one for evading arrest detention with vehicle, one for criminal mischief and one for assault causes bodily injury.
Rockdale police officers responded to 304 calls for service, of which 146 were 911 emergency calls.
