Rockdale police officers made one felony arrest during the past week:
• Thomas McElroy, 27, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Lentz for a warrant for theft of petroleum product (less than $10,000).
Accidents
Two accidents were reported during the past week including:
• Ofc. Puente responded to Cameron/Meadow on Friday for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries blocking the roadway.
• Sgt. Frankland and Ofc. Puente, along with Rockdale VFD and AMR, responded to the 1500 block of West Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries in which both parties refused AMR services.
Arrests
RPD officers made six arrests during the past week including one each for possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) in a drug free zone, capias pro fine for failure to maintain financial responsibility (second offense), no driver’s license, driving with license expired, criminal trespass and indecent exposure.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 272 total calls for service during the past week with 118 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 18 incidents on the report this week including four for interview room, two for criminal trespass, and one each for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, burglary of a vehicle, juvenile runaway, emergency order of detention, recovered vehicle, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) in a drug free zone, failure to maintain financial responsibility (second offense), no driver’s license, driving with license expired, indecent exposure, aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury and theft ($100 to $750).
