RPD makes three felony arrests over past week

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week:

• Landon Hunt Renfro, 43, was arrested by Officer Krejci on Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of dangerous drug and driving with license invalid.

• Cortney Rogers, 31, Rockdale, was arrested by Officer Hensley on Friday on a Milam County warrant for a parole violation of possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and another Milam County warrant for bond forfeiture for criminal trespass. She also had two Rockdale warrants for driving with license invalid and failure to appear.

• Edward Jones Castillo, 31, Rockdale, was arrested by Officer Krejci on Sunday for burglary of a building and fraudulent use possession of identifying information (less than five) and a Williamson County warrant for bond surrender for burglary of vehicles.

Calls for service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 259 total calls for service with 68 being for 911 emergency service.

Arrests

RPD Officers made nine arrests during the past week including one each for criminal trespass, a warrant for driving with license invalid, failure to appear, bond surrender for burglary of vehicles, theft, driving with license invalid, possession of dangerous drug, deadly conduct and assault by contact.

Citations

RPD Officers issued three citations during the past week including one each for disregarding official traffic control device, no reflector on rear of bicycle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incident Report There were 19 incidents

There were 19 incidents on the report during the past week including five for burglary of habitation, two for outstanding warrants, and one each for credit or debit card abuse, terroristic threat, burglary of a building, deadly conduct, possession of dangerous drug, assault by contact, driving with license invalid, possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of drug paraphernalia, fraud, criminal trespass and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information against elderly.

Accidents

RPD Officers responded to two accidents during the past week including:

• Officer Puente responded to the 500 block of West Cameron on Saturday for a two-vehicle accident.

• Officer Krejci responded to Ackerman/Belton on Sunday for a two-vehicle accident.
