RPD makes three felony arrests, responds to two traffic accidents

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including:

• Mallory Allison DeLeon, 18, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) in a drug free zone.

• Dennis Keith Johnson 57, Rockdale, was arrested Friday by Sgt. Ford for a pardon and Parole bench warrant for a parole violation, and two charges of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

• Edward Cyril Wilson, 50, Rockdale, was arrested on Saturday by Ofc. Lentz for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and two charges of criminal trespass.

Accidents

Sgt. Parker responded to Cameron Avenue at San Gabriel for a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday with no injuries but debris on the roadway.

Ofc. Lentz responded to Murray at Francine for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Thursday.

Arrests

RPD officers four arrests during the past week including two for criminal trespass and one each for no drivers license and public intoxication.

Calls for Service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 289 total calls for service including 71 for 911 emergency service.

Incident Report

There were 10 incidents on the report for the past seven days including three for the report only, two for criminal trespass, and one each for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, no drivers license, assault, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
