Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including: • Carmen Lopez Jr., 17, Rockdale, was arrested for sexual assault of a child and criminal mischief ($100 to $750).
• Jose Angel Hernandez, 40, Cameron, was arrested for injury to elderly and criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000).
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to the area of Wilcox and Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries on Feb. 1 at 1:56 p.m.
• Ofc. Puente responded to the 700 block of West US 79 for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Feb. 2 at 6:29 p.m.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 700 block of East Cameron Avenue with no injuries on Feb. 5 at 5:14 p.m.
• Sgt. Ford responded to a report of a three-vehicle accident at East US 79 and Oak Park Two on Feb. 5 at 5:34 p.m. Rockdale VFD responded for traffic control. No injuries were reported.
Arrests
RPD officers made eight arrests during the past week including two each for no drivers license and DWI, and one each for criminal mischief, motion to revoke, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 216 total calls for service during the past seven days including 79 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 15 incidents on the report for the past seven days including four for criminal mischief, two each for no drivers license, DWI and the report only, and one each for runaway, assault, injury to elderly, possession of a controlled substance and a Capias warrant.
