Santa Claus is coming to Milano early this year. Santa will arrive at Liberty Church on Saturday, Nov. 30. Santa will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Bring your children and friends and have your pictures taken with Santa.
This is a fundraiser for the Senior Citizens but there is not a set price for pictures. It will be donation. For more information, contact Jane Friedrichs at janefriedrichs1@gmail.com or 512-455-9560.
PARADE, MEAL—The City of Milano has scheduled its annual Christmas parade and community meal for Saturday, Dec. 14. This year’s parade theme is “The Magic of Santa’s Workshop.”
Line-up will be at 9:30 a.m. at the Milano football field parking lot, judging will take place at 10 a.m. and the parade will kick off at 10:30 a.m.
Plaques will be awarded in each division and a special cash prize will be awarded to the “best overall” entry.
Divisions for the parade are: floats, bicycles/walking/small animals, vehicles/ tractors, small motorized/ battery operated (golf carts, four-wheelers, lawn mowers, etc) and horses/wagons.
Following the parade, a free community meal will be served at the Milano Civic Center.
Winners of the parade will be announced at the meal.
