Milam County Senior Expo will be held at VFW Post 6525 on Wednesday, October 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is free and sponsored by Area Agency on Aging and Hill Country Community Action.
Attendees will visit the vendor booths and register for drawings from each one. A speaker will speak on Medicare and the difference between traditional and Advantage Plans starting at 8:30.
Other topics of discussion VA benefits including veteran, spouse and divorced spouse. Also, an Aging In Your Home discussion will take place at 11:30 and topics include private pay agency, home health, Medicaid and hospice.
