A Celebration of Installation service will be held on Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale to install Rev. Jeffrey Doria as the new Senior Pastor. Immediately following the service, a reception with refreshments will be held in the St. Paul Family Activity Center.
The members of St. Paul are happy to invite you to join us for this special celebration as we welcome Pastor Doria and his wife, Maggie, not only to St. Paul Lutheran Church but also to the community of Thorndale, Texas.
Pastor Doria received his Master's degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO and was ordained as a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod pastor in June 2001 in Friendswood at Hope Lutheran Church. Over the years, he has led and served churches in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and most recently, in Cypress. Since 2003, Pastor Doria has also served Concordia University in Austin as an adjunct professor teaching various religion classes. He also has an undergraduate degree in Art Education.
He and Maggie currently reside in Hempstead and look forward to moving to and becoming a part of the Thorndale community.
