Rockdale Police made seven felony arrests during the past week as follows:
• Gina Marie Cavazos, 49, Rockdale, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), in custody on $5,000 bond.
• Mark Anthony Benford, 40, Rockdale, possession of controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), released on $10,000 bond.
• Reba Delorrah Aguirre, 58, Rockdale, motion to revoke-theft of property (less than $2,500) two or more previous convictions, in custody, no bond.
• Arlando Seth Ayala, 42, Bastrop, unauthorized use of vehicle, two counts possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), released on $9,000 bond.
• Dylan Michael O’Grady, 20, College Station, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), released on $5,000 bond.
• Amanda Marie Rodriguez, 27, Rockdale, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), unlawful possession of firearm by felon, released on $21,500 bond.
• Luis Miguel Garcia, 35, Cameron, failure to maintain financial responsibility, two felony warrants from Ector County for failure to appear-evading arrest/detention with vehicle and DWI with child under 15.
ACCIDENTS—Police investigated two traffic accidents during the past week.
Police said an accident at 6:11 a.m. June 3 at the San Gabriel-Bell intersection involved vehicles driven by Victoria Everett of Cameron and Wendie Upson of Rockdale. Both sustained moderate damage, according to police.
Police said a two-vehicle collision at the Wilcox-Cameron (FM 487-US 79) intersection involved vehicles operated by Zachary Christensen of Gause and Mary Brown of Milano.
INCIDENTS—Incidents reported to police during the week included burglary of a building, theft ($750 to $2,500), unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and several drug offenses.
SERVICE CALLS—Rockdale Police Department officers responded to 171 calls for service during the past week and there were 84 calls to the 911 system at the police station.
