CAMERON—A 19-year-old Cameron man has drawn a 180-day prison term on a sex assault charge.
According to the arrest affidavit, Jacob Green was accused of two assaults of a resident living in a group home for adults with special needs, one occurring in Cameron and one in a rural area of FM 486.
In a separate case, Jasper Canady England, 19, of Cameron, was convicted of sexual assault and sentenced to a three-year prison term.
Also, five persons were sentenced last week in 20th District Court of Milam County, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, as follows:
• Alfredo Daniel Alzalde, 21, Maysfield, 5-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for attempted possession of a controlled substance (4-400 grams) with intent to deliver.
• Michelle Marie Reese, 22, Rockdale, four-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for injury to a child.
• Megan Maxwell, 22, Temple, two years deferred adjudication, fined $1,500 after pleading guilty to attempted endangering a child.
• Tina Lynn Spillers, 37, Cameron, 52-day county jail term, pay $122.05 in restitution to victim after pleading guilty to assault causing bodily injury.
• Scotty Burns, 25, Cameron, 10 years deferred adjudication, register as a sex offender, 180-day county jail term after pleading guilty to injury to a child.
