Cynthia Ferrell was nominated by MARC in the Recognize Good competition from Austin for her over 15 years of work to help adults with special needs in Rockdale, and over the past 20 years has raised over $400,000 for the MARC Center. Ten people were nominated for this award and Ferrell came in second place which afforded her a pay-it-forward donation for the center of $5,000.
