Matinee Musical Society, Rockdale's oldest organization, which was founded in 1909, was the sponsor of the First Friday Coffee last week at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library. This group is a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs and presents a scholarship each year to a student who is persuing music at a college level. Members provided breakfast to attendees and shown here (L-R) are JoAnn Bradford, Gloria Walker, Marie Gest, Pat Owen and Donnie Rinn.
