Six arrested on felony warrants over past week

Rockdale Police Officers made six felony arrests dur ing the past week including:

• Jennifer Hamilton, 39, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Wachtel for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) in a drug free zone.

• Ronald Batiste, 58, Dime Box, was arrested Tuesday by Ofc. Puente for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) in a drug free zone.

• Crispin Gonzales, 31, Rockdale, was arrested Thursday by Ofc. Wachtel for a Pardon and Parole Board warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity, driving with license invalid and failure to appear.

• 14-year-old male juvenile, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Sgt. Parker for two counts of theft of a firearm and burglary of a habitation.

• 14-year-old male juvenile, Thorndale, was arrested on Friday by Sgt. Parker for two counts of theft of a firearm and burglary of a habitation.

• David Ramses Flores-Vences, 30, Elgin, was arrested on Monday by Ofc. Lentz for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), driving with license invalid and Class C theft.

Arrests

RPD officers made 10 arrests over the past week including one each for an RPD warrant for theft of property ($100 to $750), an RPD warrant for driving with license invalid, an RPD warrant for failure to appear, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), no drivers license, criminal trespass, assault, theft of less than $100, driving with license invalid with previous conviction and DWI with previous conviction.

Calls for Service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 277 total calls for serviced during the past seven days including 96 for 911 emergency service.

Incidents

There were 21 incidents on the report for the past seven days including five for the report only, three for terroristic threat, and one each for outstanding warrant, possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property ($100 to $750), possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), no drivers license, harassment, runaway, disorderly conduct, theft of less than $100, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), driving with license invalid with previous conviction and DWI with open alcohol container.
