CAMERON—Six persons were sentenced during the past two weeks in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:
• Paul Ocie Hartman, 31, Houston, three years deferred adjudication, $7,275 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to theft of livestock (less then $150,000).
• Ted Jovior Roshun Thompson, 31, Cameron, one year in the county jail, probated for two years, fined $2,500, assessed $180 restitution to DPS after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, DWI.
• Jason Sanchez, 23, Cameron, six months deferred adjudication, successful completion of advanced anger management classes, fined $2,000 after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, assault bodily injury–family violence.
• Darwyne Dianne McVey, 68, Tyler, two years deferred adjudication, fined $100, assessed $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Brandon Rashawn Hardman, 23, Bryan, two-year state jail term, probated three years, successful completion of drug education and a substance abuse evaluation along with any treatment recommended, fined $3,000 fine after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, evading arrest with prior.
• Payden Church, 25, Lexington, five (5) years deferred adjudication, successful completion of substance abuse facility program, restitution in an amount to be determined, fined $2,500 after pleading guilty burglary of habitation intend assault.
