Slow is the flow

Traffic was slowing down last week on U.S. 79 as crews for Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor, Big Creek Construction, worked on extending and placing new end treatments for perpendicular drainage structures. A department spokesman said the work will be in various locations along the stretch of highway in town throughout the length of the project, and will take place at various times during the course of the 18-24 month project which started the first week of December.
