Milam County Genealogical Society will be the sponsor of First Friday Coffee this Friday, March 7 at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library.
The coffee hours are 9 to 10:30 a.m. and all are welcome to attend
City looking for board volunteers
The City of Rockdale is looking for civic-minded citizens to serve on city boards and commissions.
Interested parties can call City Hall at 512-4462511 or go by and fill out an application.
Alcoa retirees set to meet
March 13th
Alcoa Retirees will meet on Thursday, March 13, at the Thorndale Veterans Memorial Hall at 5 p.m. A business meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m.
A fried fish meal will be $10 and annual dues of $10 will be collected at the meeting. Dessert group will be M-Z.

Citywide homecoming
June 8th
Save the date! The Rockdale Homecoming Association has announced the citywide homecoming will be held on Sunday, June 8, starting at 9 a.m. with a change of venue this year, which will be the KC Hall.
More details to follow in the coming weeks about ticket sales and lunch after the association’s March 17 meeting.
