With all area schools, including Rockdale, getting out for Spring Break this week, the City of Rockdale has scheduled a “Rock the Park” event for Saturday at Fair Park.
The event, which runs from 3 to 8 p.m. is termed “family friendly” and will feature food trucks and lots of music, according to Curah Beard.
She said music will include As We Are, Matt Adler, Seize the Eternal, Whitlee Casey and Grand Theft Pineapple .
Food trucks on hand will include Pho Asian, Boomers, Backyard Country Cuisine, Helen’s Sno-Balls.
Rockdale Girl Scouts will sell desserts.
