The Milano VFD Ladies Auxiliary spring garage sale is set for Thursday through Saturday at the MVFD fire station. The building will be open all week for donation drop offs. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The station is located at 305 E. Ave. C/US Hwy. 79.

PROJECT GRADUATION—Milano Project Graduation will hold a chicken dinner fundraiser on Sunday at the KC Hall in Rockdale. Plates will be $10 each and include chicken half, green beans, German noodles, dessert and tea.

In addition to the dinner, there will be a silent auction on site.

If you live or work within a 20-mile radius and have an order of at least five plates in your area, the group will deliver. Place your order for delivery by sending a text with your name, order, and deliver address to 979-436-4123.

GOLF TOURNEY—The annual Milano ISD scholarship golf tournament will be held Saturday, April 13, at the Rockdale Country Club. Cost is $75 per player and is a four-person scramble event. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Prizes will be handed out for first through third place teams, longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. Limited to first 18 teams with breakfast and light lunch provided. Hole sponsorships are available for $120.

PARENTS CLUB— There is a date change for the Milano Parents “bottle décor party.” It is now May 19 at Rockdale Country Club. Time is 6 to 8 p.m. and cost is $30 per person, you must reserve your spot.

MASONIC TOURNEY—Milano Masonic Lodge has set its annual scholarship tournament for Saturday, April 27, at Cameron Country Club. Tee time is set for 9 a.m. More information on this in the next week’s column.

AG BOOSTER WINNER—Congratulations to Alan Noack who was the winner of the Milano/Gause Ag Boosters fundraiser. The prize is a processed pig.

DENDY BROWN BENEFIT—The benefit for Dendy and Jamie Brown was a huge success on Saturday. A big “thank you” to everyone who supported the event in any way.
