CAMERON—St. Monica’s Catholic Church will hold its Homecoming Festival on Sunday, Aug. 21, beginning with a polka mass at 9 a.m. featuring the Jodie Mikula Orchestra.
Barbecue beef and sausage plates will be sold for $12 from 10 a.m. until sold out and there will also be a drive through line for to-go plates. Hamburgers, tamales and brisket sandwiches will also be available.
There will be game booths starting at 11 a.m., bingo games will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a live auction begins at 2:30 p.m. A horseshoe tournament begins at 1 p.m. with registration from 11:30 to 12:30.
Entertainment will be provided by the Jodie Mikula Orchestra and Eric Landeros.
