Rockdale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6525 has been named the All-State post for Texas in 2018. Pictured are Post Commander Larry Rubino (R) and Quartermaster Rod Roderick. Rubino said Post 6525 has not won the award for about 20 years. The post has 104 members, plus an auxiliary. and will compete for All-American honors in July. Post 6525, 978 West US 79, will host Rock-dale’s annual Memorial Day ceremony at 9 a.m. May 28.
