The 2021 severe weather season is not too far away, and the National Weather Service and
local public safety officials want you to be ready. The National Weather Service will conduct a free, virtual severe weather training class for Milam County on Jan.
14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The SKYWARN Storm Spotter Class, the
program will be held in partnership with the Milam County Office of Emergency Management.

This class is for established storm spotters, anyone with an interest in severe weather or
anyone who wants to learn more about the severe weather threats in north and central Texas
and how to be prepared.
