The camp is in Van which is off Interstate 20 between Canton and Kilgore in northeast Texas.
Sky Ranch that, according to its website, exists to provide people with a positive, recreational, fun and memorable experience, while being exposed to the truths of the word of God. The camp period is a week and sessions start in May of 2021.
In order to have a chance at winning one of the scholarships to camp, one has to write an essay.
The topic is “This year has been difficult for everyone.” So entrants should write a story sharing a passage from the Bible that helped them in getting through the tough times of this year.
There is no length requirement. Elementary school students need to handwrite their entries while those out of grade school may type theirs. The deadline is Nov. 16.
