POLICE REPORT

Rockdale police said an arrest was made Sunday after a driver left the scene of an accident in the 500 block of Miller.

According to police, an unknown vehicle struck a parked pickup, a mailbox and a trash can and did not stop.

Police located a suspect and arrested Francisco Cervantes, 31, of Rockdale for duty on striking unattended vehicle.

Parked vehicle involved is registered to Danny and Mary Calk of Rockdale.

CAR-CYCLE—Police were called to an accident involving a motorcycle and a car at 11:08 p.m. Thursday at the Meadow-Cameron (US

79) intersection.

Driver of the car was listed as Linda Henderson of Rockdale.

Police said the motorcycle operator was Aubrey Bratcher of Rockdale.

Injuries were reported but were “unknown,” according to police.

Police termed an incident in front of Lee’s Landing “minor” at 2:29 a.m. Jan. 22.

Drivers were listed as Thadd Lopez of Rockdale and Mason Luxton of Taylor.

ARREST—Police made one felony arrest during the seven day reporting period.

Lynn Deandre Boyd of Rockdale was arrested Thursday on a local warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He was also booked on a parole violation and remains in the county jail without bond.

Misdemeanor arrests during the week included possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), possession of drug paraphernalia, assault by contact, driving with license invalid and duty on striking unattended vehicle.

SERVICE CALLS— Officers responded to 188 calls for service during the seven-day reporting period and there were 72 calls through the 911 system.
